HID XENON KIT- upgrade now to
the same lighting system as seen on BMW, Lexus or Porsche.
The Omega Xenon HID Kit is a revolutionary concept in automotive lighting that provides 3 times more light on the road than traditional halogen headlights.
Each light uses a tube of Xenon gas, and small amounts of other noble gases, which is placed between two high-voltage electrodes. When the electrodes are activated a bright blue/white light is emitted. Omega German Technology ballasts are used to regulate the flow of electricity providing a high intensity beam that never fluctuates.Omega ballast use internal igniter technology similar to Hella or Philips made in Germany. Our HID bulbs are produced according to rigorous patent standards. The life time of Omega H.I.D. bulbs is 8 times that of a halogen bulb.
The Omega Hid Xenon Kit produces 9% more lumens at the same color temperature than most famous German hid kits on the market.
Advantages of The Omega Xenon HID Kit:
Saves Power: HID Xenon lights consume only 35W of electricity making them over 3 times more efficient than traditional halogen bulbs.
Longer Life : The Omega HID Kit lasts over 4,000 hours over 8 times more than OEM halogen bulbs. All our HID KITS have 2 years warranty !
Safety :Omega HID Xenon bulbs have an increased brightness of 300% (over traditional halogen bulbs) adding an extra margin of safety.
Appearance : Attractive, the HID Kit produces comfortable light which is very close to the natural light emitted by the sun. It makes everything easier to see at night.

Installation of The Omega Xenon HID Kit
Traditional halogen bulbs such as H1,H3,H4,H7,H11,9004,9005,9006 and 9007 are easily upgraded to our HID Xenon Kit with no additional equipment. Everything needed is included in the HID Xenon kit ! The most advanced lighting technology is now available for all late model cars and trucks. We also produce D2S/D2R oem type of H.I.D. bulbs to upgrade from factory 4250K to 6000K.
Omega HID FAQ
FAQ
How
HID Technology works ? :
Xenon
HID lamps do
not have a filament. Instead the light is created by an electrical
discharge between two electrodes in an air tight tiny quartz
capsule filled with xenon gas, mercury and metal halide salts.
This improves durability as road vibrations can cause damage
to coil lighting technologies. These light sources also produce
a blue-white light that is safer because it is closer to natural
daylight. The color temperature is approximately 6000K
compared to 3200K for halogen. The increased light output from
a 35 watt Xenon HID Lamp is approximately 80% more
light then a 55 watt halogen bulb. The Xenon HID system
will also draw less power from your vehicles electrical system. |

Why
was Xenon Light developed ?
o:p> |
|
For
more safety on our roads. In the past decade, car manufacturers
have made cars safer and more comfortable by the introduction
of A.B.S., air bags, air conditioning, etc. But still, no less
that 60% of all traffic accidents take place in poorly light
conditions. Therefore, lighting greatly contributes actively
to road safety and comfort |

|
Why
is good quality car lighting so important ? : |
|
Because
it saves lives. Better lighting leads to earlier and improved
recognition of objects, cyclists, pedestrians, road workers,
etc. Earlier and improved recognition of traffic signs and road
markings is also vitally important to accident prevention. Therefore,
better lighting delivers an active contribution to road safety
and driver comfort, and can save lives.
What
is Kelvin (K) ? :
Color
Temperature is a measurement in Degrees Kelvin that indicates
the hue of a specific type of light source. Many people believe
the misconception that colour temperature is a rating of the
brightness of the bulb or Hid kit .
This belief is completely false. The reality of the matter is
that the higher the colour temperature, the less useable light
output you will obtain. A perfect example would be a black light.
This light has a colour temperature of approx 14,000k and has
almost no useable light or lumens output. Higher K kits such
as 12,000k, 14000k,
etc. have been manufactured for individuals that are more concerned
about the actual colour output of their lights as opposed to
the actual useable light output.

What
is Lumen (lm) ? :
The
international unit (SI) of luminous flux (quantity of lights). For example,
a dinner candle produces about 12 lumens and a standard 60-watt incandescent
bulb produces 830 lumens.
